Dr. Sheth is a principal and one of the founding members of MCFI. He is a Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine Specialist, with his M.D. from Gujarat University in India. He has extensive healthcare and management experience including Clinical Care, Practice Administration, Health Care Management and Health Information Systems. Dr. Sheth also sits on the board of several leading business organizations and has founded multiple successful enterprises.
He has served as Medical Director for First Health Services Corp., Christopher East Rehab Facility, Arden Courts Alzheimer’s Facility, Northfield Manor Kindred Rehab Facility, Kindred Hospital, Brownsboro Nursing and Rehab, River Bend-American Senior Alzheimer’s Facility, Landmark Health and Rehab, Health Risk Partners, and Impact Makers, Inc. He was also the Regional Medical Director/Chief Medical Officer of The Little Clinic in Nashville, Tennessee, Convenient Care Clinics staffed by Nurse Practitioners located in Publix and Kroger grocery stores.
His professional activities include serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Kentucky Medical Directors Association, and a member of the Medical Advisory Board of Kindred Healthcare, Health Services Division, Hospice of Southern Indiana, and Forest Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Sheth has acted as a Geriatric Consultant for Our Lady of Peace Hospital, Clark Memorial Hospital Behavior Health Services and was an affiliate faculty member for the University of Louisville’s Family and Geriatric Medicine. He has been a member of the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE), Disease Management Association of America (DMAA), American Medical Directors Association (AMDA), Georgia Medical Directors Association (GMDA), American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), and Georgia Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPI).
Dr. Sheth functions as President/CEO of ZILMED, Inc., providing medical director and attending physician services to the Long Term Care industry. He is also the founder of Global Information Systems, a Healthcare Technology and Econometrics company providing management solutions for health care facilities focusing on operations, financial management and accounting, reimbursement, personnel utilization, and managed care contracting. Dr. Sheth founded AFCH Healthcare Services, Inc. in 2006, a not for profit company that serves seniors in a home like setting. He is the Organizer/Director for the State Bank of Georgia and has served on the Board of Directors for Impact Makers, Inc., a non-stock, competitive social venture led by senior consulting executives, dedicated and prepared to do things differently. Impact Makers competes head-to-head for contracts in the highly competitive professional services consulting world, and wins its fair share based on superior competence and performance. Dr. Sheth also is one of the founders and Board of Directors of Aloha to Aging, Inc. – a not for profit entity serving needs of seniors in Cobb County Georgia.
Managing Partner
Dr. Jim Davis is a principal at MCFI and is a licensed psychiatrist by trade. He earned his BA and MD from Indiana University as has served as Medical Director of numerous mental health facilities all across the United States. Dr. Davis also owns a horse farm near Indianapolis Indiana and is an active in many community and regional organizations.
Dr. Davis has held the position of Medical Director of Adolescent Services at Rivendell Behavioral Services in Bowling Green, Kentucky since 1997. In that capacity he achieved joint commission of Healthcare Organizations Accreditation and served as the Attending Psychiatrist for children and adolescents ages four years old through eighteen years old with psychiatric diagnoses requiring inpatient and extended care hospitalizations.
Dr. Davis has had 18 years of experience in the treatment of children and adolescents in psychiatric inpatient, partial, and outpatient settings and has been JACHO reviewed and state licensed for the same in Indiana and Kentucky. This has included children with a wide range of diagnostic problems including: Childhood Schizophrenia, Pediatric Onset Bipolar Disorder, Autistic Spectrum and Developmental Disorders, Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Conduct Disorders, Reactive Attachment Disorders, and a full spectrum of Childhood Anxiety Disorders. In addition, Dr. Davis has had extensive experience being the team leader and supervising the provision of treatment by Child Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists and Social Workers.
Dr. Davis served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana, from July 1975 thru July 1993. While serving in this capacity Dr. Davis taught third year Psychiatric Residents the care and treatment of behaviorally impaired children and adolescents and helped prepare the residents to sit for the Board Certification Examinations for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Davis served as Chief Medical Officer and Corporate Medical Director from August 1997 until July 2000 for Children’s Comprehensive Services, Inc. a full spectrum national network for services to at risk youth, based in Nashville, TN. In this capacity Dr. Davis was the Clinical Director of the Compliance Audit Team that reviewed the quality of child and adolescent services provided by CCS in their hospitals and partial hospitalization programs in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Florid a, Texas, Montana, Utah, and Michigan.
Dr. Davis has provided consultation to the Department of Juvenile Justice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and has served as Chief Facility Consultant to the Warren Regional Juvenile Detention Center from January 2003 until present.
Dr. Davis graduated as chief Resident of psychiatry at Cincinnati General Hospital, University of Cincinnati Medical Center, with special training-in children and Adolescent Services in the Community Health Division, and was nominated by the Department of Psychiatry as outstanding Resident for the Advancement of Psychiatry National Fellowship Award.
Dr. Davis’ career has spanned from Attending Psychiatrist at Wabash Valley Alliance Behavioral Health Center, The Mennonite Health Services Alliance, The Otis R. Bowen Center for Human Services, Wellstone Regional Hospital, to Network Medical Director at Seven Hills Behavioral Institute, Charter Hospital and Community Hospital where he also served as a Director/Member. Dr. Davis also served as Chief Department of Psychiatry and Medical Director at Gallahue Mental Health Care Community Hospital. Dr. Davis expansive career found him as Chief Medical Officer at Children’s Comprehensive Service, Chief Psychiatric Consultant of Fairbanks Hospital and Chief Resident of Psychiatry at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Davis also was Founder/President of Davis Psychiatric Clinic and Indiana Health Group in Indianapolis, IN.
